A graduate of Franklin Academy, Laura Pelkey starred in soccer there and was the recipient of awards for her sportsmanship and academic success in the classroom. She was named to the Principal's List as well.
She is majoring in physical therapy at Sage and is the daughter of Thomas and Julie Pelkey.
