Bio

Garzon joined the RSC Men's Soccer coaching staff in a volunteer capacity in the spring of 2026.

A former student-athlete at The College of Saint Rose, Juan was a team captain and All-Conference selection. A soccer coach with extensive experience across collegiate, high school, and elite club environments.  recently served as the Varsity Boys’ Head Coach at Broadalbin-Perth High School and Director of Coaching for Averill Park Soccer Club, Juan brings a holistic approach to player development that balances technical growth, tactical understanding, and personal accountability.

With coaching experience spanning NCAA programs, competitive youth clubs, and high school athletics, Juan has worked with athletes from grassroots levels through college recruitment pathways. His coaching background includes roles with SUNY Adirondack, Rush Soccer Club, Global Premier Soccer, Saratoga Wilton Soccer Club, and The College of Saint Rose, where he supported training design, match preparation, scouting, and athlete mentorship.
 
Juan holds a master's degree in Sports Management and a Graduate Certificate in Athletic Administration, with a strong foundation in leadership, program management, and long-term player development models. He is currently completing his USSF C License and additional certifications in strength, conditioning, and sports nutrition. Bilingual in English and Spanish, Juan is passionate about building competitive, disciplined cultures that emphasize academic success, character, and lifelong love for the game.
