Anthony Williamson

At Sage:

• Tapped as a team captain for the 2018 team, marking his third straight season holding the honor.
• As a member of the 2017 team, Williamson was named to the Empire 8 All-Star Second Team on defense. He was a starter in all 18 matches and wrapped the year with a selection to the 2017 Empire 8 Sportsmanship Team.
• Helped 2016 squad to the Skyline Conference Tournament runner-up crown after the team ranked nationally in 12 NCAA Division III statistical categories.
• Played in 19 game in 2016 and helped to anchor a defense that combined for 5 shutouts.
• Member of the 2015 regular season and tournament Skyline Championship team that went to the program’s first NCAA Division III Tournament.
• Played in 11 games his rookie year as a junior on defense. Recorded one shot against SUNY-Canton.
• He is a two-sport student-athlete at Sage having also excelled for the track and field team.
• He was named Gator of the Year as team MVP in 2016.
• In soccer, he has now played in 48 matches entering the 2018 campaign helping to anchor the defensive unit throughout his career.

 Academics at Sage:

• A graduate student at Sage, he earned his undergraduate degree in business administration and is currently working on his MBA at Sage Graduate School.
• Named to the Dean’s List at Sage after also earning Skyline Conference Scholar-Athlete status in 2015 and 2016.
• Named to the 2016-2017 Sage Scholar-Athlete Team, while also earning a spot on the Sage Athletic Honor Society in both 2016-2017 and 2017-2018.
• He arrived at Sage after attending University At Albany, where he was a Dean’s List student.
• At Sage, he is a member of the Sigma Beta Delta Honor Society and also worked as an intern as a marketing intern at Novartis Pharmaceuticals in the Neuroscience Marketing department.

High School:

• He was a two-sport performer in soccer and track and field at Beacon High School.
• Helped the 2011 soccer team to a league championship.
