Bailey Martin

At Sage:

• Bailey Martin was a Gator newcomer on the 2019 men’s lacrosse team. Along the way as a member the first team he appeared in one game for an injury shortened campaign. He had 2 goals and an assist.
• He scored the first goal for the men’s lacrosse program at Sage in the first game as they hosted Western Connecticut State University on Feb. 23, 2019.
• Named a team captain on the 2020 team, Martin had a breakout performance having started all 7 games. He tallied 19 points on 14 goals with 5 assists. He had 11 ground ball pickups and 2 caused turnovers. He also had a blistering .800 shot percentage having converted 14 of his 28 shot attempts for goals.
• Over the course of the shortened 2020 season, he added 4 goals in the team’s win over Mitchell, which stands tied for 9^th in single-game bests at Sage.
• In his short time as Sage, he has already made an impact in the record book as he is No. 6 with 22 career points, No. 5 in goals (16), and No. 6 with 6 career assists.
  

Academics at Sage:

• He is majoring in physical education at Sage.
  

High School:

• A graduate of Onandaga Central High School, Martin was an accomplished scholar-athlete excelling in football, indoor track and lacrosse.
• He led the 2016 football team to the Section 3 Class D Championship, while in lacrosse he was a second team all-league performer and was a four-year starter.
• He scored 160 career points in indoor track and was a member of the all-league 4 x 200 relay team and won the league 4 x 2 relay championship.
