Follow the Gators at the Nazareth Golden Flyer Tournament
The Gators will take to the court on Friday, September 11 in the opening day of the Golden Flyer Invitational at Nazareth College. Sage will face Nazareth at 2 p.m. and Alleghey College Friday night. Action continues on Saturday with a pair of matches, the first at noon against SUNY Cortland
The Sage Colleges women's volleyball team opened action at the Nazareth College Golden Flyer Invitational. Sage would drop the first game to the hosts, the Golden Flyers of Nazareth College (3-0). Nazareth would post a 25-17, 25-14, and a 25-15 win to improve to 3-3, while Sage drops to 1-5.
Sage's junior outside hitter Sarah Peacock (Duanesburg, NY/Duanesburg) added eight kills with eight digs, while sophomore libero Kelsey Wilson (Schenectady, NY/Bishop Gibbins) added a team-high 15 digs.
The Gators will now face Allegheny College on Friday night at 8:30 p.m. before facing SUNY Cortland Saturday morning.
