Corbett Earns Player of the Week Honors For Second Week

Lawrenceville, NJ - Sophomore middle hitter Nicole Corbett(Schodack, NY) earned Player of the Week honors for the second straight week after being selected to the all-tournament team at the Oneonta State Invitational.

In five matches for the week, Corbett hit .350 (41-7-96) while averaging 2.28 kills and 1.33 digs per set. In a 3-1 loss to a 21-1 Union squad, Corbett had eight kills with just one error along with three blocks. She hit .375 with 11 kills as the Gators rallied from a 2-0 deficit for a 3-2 win over Geneseo.

The Gators return to the court on Wednesday, October 8th as they host Purchase looking to keep their undefeated record in conference play in tact.
