Sage Completes Undefeated Season In Skyline Conference With Two Wins
Troy, NY - The Sage Colleges women's volleyball team improved to 9-0 in conference play, and capture the Skyline Conference regular season crown defeating both Mount Saint Mary College and St. Joseph's College three games to zero.
In the first match of the day against Mount Saint Mary, the Gators defeated the Blue Knights 25-17. 25-17, 25-19. Nicole Corbett (Schodack, NY) led Sage with twelve kills and two blocks. Kellie Jones (Troy, NY) had six kills and 13 digs, while Kaitlin Olmstead (Horseheads, NY) added 22 assists and seven digs.
Sage defeated St. Joseph's College 25-18, 25-21, 25-16 in the second match of the day. Olmstead dished out 32 assists and 14 digs. Sarah Peacock (Duanesburg, NY) contributed ten kills and 15 digs, while Krista Provost (Duanesburg, NY) added eight kills and 16 digs.
Sage returns to the court Wednesday, October 29th as they host non-conference opponent Utica College at 7pm.
