Sage Drops Two Matches In Non-Conference Tri-Match

Troy, NY - The Sage Colleges women's volleyball team fell to both St. John Fisher College and Clarkson University in a non-conference contest Saturday afternoon.

In the first match of the day the Gators fell to St. John Fisher one game to three; 23-25, 15-25, 25-15, 25-15.  Nicole Corbett (Schodack, NY) led the Gators with 13 kills and three blocks.  Krista Provost (Duanesburg, NY) contributed twelve kills and 15 digs, while Kaitlin Olmstead (Horseheads, NY) added five kills, 18 assists and twelve digs.

Sage faced Clarkson in the second match of the day, and the Golden Knights defeated the Gators in three games; 23-25, 20-25, 17-25.  Corbettshowed her consistency, leading Sage with nine kills and two blocks.  Troy native Kellie Jones added six kills and twelve digs.  Sarah Peacock (Duanesburg, NY) gathered 20 digs, while Provost added five kills and 14 digs.

The Gators return to the court Tuesday, October 21st as they travel to Union College for a 7pm start.
