Gators finish with a big win, 8-1

SAGE TOPS MCLA 8-1 IN WOMEN'S TENNIS ACTION

 

Adams, MA----The Sage Colleges women's tennis team traveled to Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts for a final match of the season. The Gators would post the 8-1 win to improve to 9-4, while the Trailblazers drop to 1-10.

Sage's senior Christina Gray (Clifton Park, NY/Shenendehowa) was a 6-0, 6-0 winner over MCLA's Kristin Banks (Norton, MA) and improves to 13-2 on the year in singles play. She added a win at first doubles with Sage's junior captain Kathryn Saulsbery (Colonie, NY/Colonie Central), 8-0. Saulsbery played at second singles and was a 6-0, 6-3 winner over Katie Bodnar (Pittsfield, MA) and improves to 7-4 in singles this fall.
