Sage Tennis Extends Win Streak to Four

Troy, NY - The Sage Colleges women's tennis team defeated conference opponent Mount Saint Vincent 7-1, to extend their win streak to four. 

Christina Gray (Clifton Park, NY) earned a win in the number one slot defeating her opponent  6-0, 6-0.  Ashley Brennan (Loudonville, NY) picked up a win, 7-6, 11-9, 10-7; while Devon Money (Syracuse, NY) and Melissa Sageman(Westford, MA) both tallied wins, winning 6-1, 6-1 and 6-0, 6-0, respectively. 

The Gators were flawless in doubles, taking all three matches from the Dolphin's.  Grey and Kathryn Saulsbery (Albany, NY) won 8-5, while Sageman and partner Jessica Baldic (Cooperstown, NY) won 9-7.  Lauren Schroder (Enfield, CT) and Megan Linzi (Valatie, NY) won the final match of the day 8-3.

Sage improved to 4-1 and returns to action on Saturday, September 20th as they host a Skyline Conference match against Polytechic University.
