Sage Tennis Remains Unbeaten In Conference Play

Schenectady, NY- The weather didnt keep The Sage Colleges from remaining undefeated in conference play, as they defeated Bard College 6-3 indoors. 

Christina Gray (Clifton Park, NY) continued to be a threat in the conference in the number one singles spot, winning 6-0, 6-0.  Briana Bixler (Highland, NY) and Melissa Sageman (Westford, MA) also picked up wins for the Gators, winning 6-1, 6-2; 6-2, 6-4, respectively.

Gray teamed up with Kathryn Saulsbery (Albany, NY) to score a doubles win 8-5.  Megan Linzi (Valatie, NY) and Ashley Brennan (Loudonville, NY)  defeated their opponents 8-4.  Bixler and Sageman recorded a doubles win as well for Sage, winning 8-5.

Sage improved to 7-2 overall and 5-0 in the conference.  The Gators return to the court to defend their unbeaten streak tomorrow, Saturday, October 4th as they host Skyline opponent St. Joseph's College at Prospect Park at 1pm.
