Sage Picks Up Third Straight Win

New York, NY - The Sage Colleges women's tennis team defeated conference foe Yeshiva University 5-4 to pick up their first conference win of the season as well as their third straight win. 

Briana Bixler (Highland, NY) picked up a singles win for Sage winning 6-1, 6-0.  Melissa Sageman(Westford, MA) tallied a singles win, 6-2, 6-1 along with Lauren Schroder (Enfield, CT) as she won 6-4, 4-6, 6-0.

The Gators picked up two doubles wins to secure the victory, Sageman and partner Jessica Baldic (Cooperstown, NY) grabbed a win 8-6.  Natalie Holak (Auburn, NY) and Ashley Brennan (Loudonville, NY) also recorded a doubles win for Sage, winning 8-0.

Sage improved to 3-1 on the season and they will host their first match of the season on September 17th against Mount Saint Vincent at 4pm.
