Sage Tennis Suffers First Conference Loss

Troy, NY- The Sage Colleges tennis team suffered their first skyline conference Saturday afternoon at Prospect Park, losing to St. Joseph's 4-5.

Christina Gray (Clifton, NY) continues to remain too much handle for conference opponents as she defeated her opponent  6-0, 6-1.  Kathryn Saulsbery (Albany, NY) picked up a win as well, winning 6-2, 2-6, 10-8.  Briana Bixler (Highland, NY) recorded a singles win for Sage defeating her opponent 3-6, 6-2, 10-2.   Gray and Saulsbery tallied the lone Gator doubles win, winning 8-3.

Sage falls to 7-3 overall and 5-1 in the conference, moving them down to third place in conference standings.  The Gators travel to Farmingdale Sunday for their third straight match at 1pm Sunday.
