Sage Ties Purchase In Conference Match Up

Troy, NY - The Sage Colleges women's soccer team tied Purchase College 0-0 in double overtime Wednesday afternoon at Afrim's Sports Complex.  

The Gators had nine shots at the goal, while the Panthers managed 17 shots over the course of 100 minutes.  Meghan Welcome (Cohoes, NY) was in the net for Sage and recorded all 17 saves.   

The tie keeps Sage in fourth place in conference standings with a record of 3-1-1 and 5-4-2 overall.  The Gators travel to number one St. Joseph's College Saturday, October 18th for a 1pm start.
