Marszalek Breaks Record As Gators Secure Home Field Advantage
Purchase, NY - Freshman Rebecca Marszalek(Adams, MA) scored a record breaking five goals against the College of Mount Saint Vincent Sunday evening to lead the Gators to a 9-0 victory, securing home field advantage in the first round of the Skyline Conference playoffs.
Marszalek found the back of the net at 27:18 for the first goal of the game, which proved to be the game winning goal as Sage never looked back. Korin Hollenbeck (Hudon, NY) scored twice, as Nicole Killeen (Petersburg, NY) and Courtney Robert(Melrose, NY) each tallied a goal on the evening.
The Gators outshot the Dolphins 38-5. Sage will return to the field on Wednesday, November 5th as they host Mount Saint Mary College in the first round of the Skyline Conference playoffs.
