Sage Comes From Behind to Earn Non-Conference Win

Cobleskill, NY -  The Sage Colleges defeated SUNY Cobleskill 2-1 in a non-conference contest.  The Gators come from behind win improves their record to 3-2-1.

Cobleskill took an early lead, scoring at the 11:45 mark in the first half.  Later in the half Sophomore Nicole Killeen (Petersburg, NY) found the back of the net for the Gators on an assist from Ashley Allain (Stillwater, NY), to pull the Gators even at 38:37.  Freshman Rebecca Marszalek  (Adams, MA) scored the game winning goal at 75:28 to put Sage up 2-1 and secure the win. 

Both teams had 14 shots on goal and goalkeeper Meghan Welcome (Cohoes, NY) made 13 saves for the Gators.

Sage returns to the field Saturday, September 27th when they travel to Bard College for a conference match up at 2pm.
