Sage Soccer Falls To Clarkson

Potsdam, NY - The Sage Colleges soccer team lost to Clarkson University 0-1 in overtime in a non-conference contest on Sunday afternoon.  Sage evened  to 2-2-1 on the season while Clarkson improved to 3-4-1.

Sage gave up a significant advantage in shots in both the opening half (1-8) and second half (3-9), luckily the Knights were unable to come through with any goals.

Unfortunately, in the first overtime, Clarkson was able to find the net. Freshman Alyssa Dausman went deep into the corner and sent a cross through the box and found Alyssa Bandy who managed to get it just over Sarah Fink's (Maryland, NY) head  for the game-winner at 91:44.

Fink made six saves for the Gators, while Golden Knight goalie Caitlin Titus made four saves. Clarkson finished with a 19-4 lead in shots and a 5-2 advantage in corner kicks.

The Gators return to the field Wednesday, September 24th when they travel to SUNY Cobleskill for a non-conference game.
