Adams Named Skyline Player Of The Week

Lawrenceville, NJ  - Alex Adams (Saratoga Springs, NY) was selected the Skyline Player of the Week for last weeks defensive performance. 

Adams, the only starting senior on the Sage women’s soccer team, anchored a defense that held Mount Saint Mary College, the top scoring team in the Skyline Conference, scoreless in a 1-0 victory. The Gators limited the Blue Knights to 12 shots (six shots on goal) in improving to 3- 1 in conference play.  Krystal Cozzens’ (Cohoes, NY) goal at 15:31 proved to be the difference as Sage earned its second straight shutout.

Sage is currently in fourth place in the Skyline standings and will return to the field Wednesday, October 15th when they face conference foe Purchase College at Afrim's Sports Complex at 3pm.
