Women's Lacrosse Falls To Ramapo

Troy, NY- The Sage Colleges women's lacrosse team fell to Ramapo College 6-18 Wednesday afternoon.

The RoadRunners scored the first nine goals of the game before Sage's Briana Thompson (Mason, OH) found the back of net the put the Gators on the scoreboard.  After Thompson's goal Sage allowed just three goals over the remaining seven minutes of the first half to head into halftime down 1-12. Sage scored the first three goals of the second half, Kathryn Saulsbery (Albany, NY) netted two, while captain Jessica Hankle (Wynantskill, NY) scored once.  Ramapo go back on track scoring, but only managed six goals in the second half as the Gator defense was able to slow them down.  Thompson scored two more goals for Sage to finish the game with four goals on the day.

The Gators are off until Thursday, April 16th when they travel to Polytechnic for a 6pm start.
