Gators Close Season At St. Joseph's College
Patchogue, NY- The Sage Colleges' women's basketball team falls to fellow Skyline Conference opponent St. Joseph's College in their final game of the year by a score of 71 to 61.
The Gators outscored the Golden Eagles 38- 34 in the second half but couldn't pick up the win. For the Gators, senior forward Kelley Barnes (Schenectady, NY) finished her career with a bang by putting up a double-double with 12 points and 12 rebounds. Teammate Liz Donk (Phelps, NY) was the game's leading scorer with 24 points.
The Sage Colleges finish the year in eighth place in the Skyline Conference with a 4-14 record while St. Joseph's improves to 8-10 in the conference and secures the final spot in the play-offs.
