Bio
A newcomer to Sage last year, Laurel Jicha finished her first season as a Gator with a 3.4 ppg and 2.3 rpg average in 24 appearances, while making four starts.
While at Hannibal Central High School, Jicha was a two-sport performer in both basketball and softball. She was named the softball and basketball team MVP in 2009, while also earning all-league honors in softball in 2009. She was three-time Scholar-Athlete at Hudson Valley Community College and the recipient of the Ottomen Guenther Award for the most athletic and academic success in 2011.
At Sage, she is majoring in applied biology and physical therapy. She also serves as resident assistant in the Sage resident halls and is the daughter of Timothy Jicha and Denise Stupp.
