Lisa Kentris

At Sage:

• After starting her career at Purchase College, Lisa Kentris arrives at Sage and will compete this spring as a member of the Gator softball team as a graduate player.
• A team captain for the Purchase College softball team, Kentris was the 2018 student athlete of the year and was selected to serve as an NCAA student leadership representative.

Academics at Sage:

• She earned her undergraduate degree from Purchase College in three years. She is a graduate student at Sage in the master’s program working on her degree in childhood education and literacy.
• She is also graduate assistant at Sage in the Athletic Communications office.
• She earned a spot on the 2018 Empire 8 Fall Presidents’ List for her efforts in the classroom.
• While at Purchase, she was a Dean’s List student and earned the Thomas White Distinguished Scholar award, while also earning the SUNT Chancellor Award in 2018. She was also honored every semester as a Skyline Conference Scholar-Athlete and was selected to the Psychology National Honor Society.

High School:

• A soccer, softball and basketball star, she excelled at nearby Shaker High School.
• The 2015 softball team captain, she helped the squad to a Section 2 runner-up finish.

Personal:

• She is the daughter of Tom Milette and Maureen Kentris-Milette.
• She spent the summer of 2018 playing on the U.S. Softball team and played softball in Europe.

I really enjoy the education department as the professors are knowledgeable and the classes are extremely useful for the field!
