Brittany Brooks

At Sage:

• As a newcomer with the Gators in 2017, Brittany Brooks worked behind the plate in 31 games and produced a .227 batting average. She finished the season with 15 hits and had a .975 fielding percentage, having helped to turn two double plays.
• Brooks started 17 of 19 games in 2018 and added a .232 average at the plate with 10 RBI’s and a .411 slugging percentage. Defensively, she had 8 pickoff with a .971 fielding percentage.
• She opened the 2018 spring with a selection as the Empire 8 Player of the Week after a monster start to the sophomore campaign.
• She has started 45 of 50 career games as a Gator and has a .254 career batting average with 31 hits and 19 career RBI’s to her credit.

Academics at Sage:

• She is an applied biology major at Sage with a path to physical therapy.
• Brooks is a Dean’s List student and earned acclaim as a Sage Scholar-Athlete and as an honoree on the Empire 8 Presidents’ List.

High School:

• A graduate of Salmon River Central, she excelled in three sports earning letters in softball, volleyball, and basketball. She was team captain in all three sports, earning all-state honors in basketball. In softball and volleyball, she was a Second Team All-Northern Second Team pick. She helped to lead the softball team to the runner-up crown in Section X as well as the Class C Volleyball Section X Championship. She was a National Honor Society student and earned All-Academic Honors for the All-Northern Conference.
