Gators Fall In Quarterfinals

Newburgh, NY – The Gator Soccer (9-5-2) team fell to Purchase College (10-8-1) in the Skyline Conference Quarterfinals Thursday evening, being outscored 1-4 in penalty kicks.
This was the second time in three days these teams faced each other, and the third game in four days for Sage. After 110 minutes of play the two were knotted at 0-0 and the game was left to be determined by penalty kicks. Purchase found the back of the net four times, while Kailyn Kulzer (Schaghticoke) was the lone Gator to put her name in scorebook.
The Panthers move on to the Skyline Conference Semifinals while the Gators will wait until early next week when it will be determined if they will be competing in the ECAC Tournament.
