Gators defeat Southern Vermont in "Think Pink" Game
Albany, NY- The return of athletics to the Sage College of Albany campus of the Sage Colleges was a success today with the Gators women's basketball team defeating the Mountaineers of Southern Vermont College 50 to 46.
The Gators were led by a trio of upperclassmen. Lynsee Barnes (Guilderland, NY) hit three, three pointers for a total of 17 points and five rebounds. Tasha Coolidge (Pueblo, CO) put up six points, eight rebounds and dished four assists. Sarah Otto (Albany, NY) scored ten points and pulled down six rebounds. Of note for the Mountaineers, two players had double-doubles. Julie Fagan (New Britain, CT) had 19 points and 15 rebounds while Kristi Kligerman (Fort Lauderdale, FL) put up 10 points and had 17 rebounds.
The Gators travel to Polytechnic University for their final road contest of the regular season on Wednesday, 2/20 at 6pm.
