Ryan Laughlin (Mechanicville, NY) joined Sage during the summer of 2017 as a new member of the Athletic Training staff. Laughlin previously assisted Sage working as a per diem assistant athletic trainer and arrived at Sage in the summer of 2015.
Laughlin, a 2015 graduate of SUNY Cortland, holds a bachelor of science degree in athletic training. Laughlin first arrived at Sage in 2015-2016, while attending graduate school at Sage. Laughlin recently was honored with the Civilian Award by the Town of Colonie Police department for his heroics in saving a life with his first aid and CPR training. He holds numerous memberships and certifications, including membership from the National Athletic Trainers’ Association and New York State. Certified in both CPR and AED from the America Red Cross, Laughlin is currently working towards completion of his CSCS certification which he will complete in the coming months. He is also a certified instructor in First Aid-CPR and AED use.
