Pericon remains perfect as Gators fall at Bard, 8-1
Annadale-on-Hudson, NY---The Sage Colleges women's tennis team faced Bard College on Wednesday evening on the road, but fell 8-1. The Gators drop to 1-2, while Bard improves to 2-0.
Sage's junior Isabella Pericone (Scotia, NY/Burnt Hills) posted the Gators' lone win on the night as she defeated Sofia Commito, 6-1, 6-2 and improves to a perfect 3-0 in singles play. She is now 2-0 at first singles this fall.
Sage returns to action on September 17 for a non-conference road match at SUNY-Plattsburgh at 1 p.m.
