Gators post convincing 9-0 win over MCLA in women's tennis action
Sage's women's tennis team racked up their second straight win as they defeated the Trailblazer, 9-0 on Wednesday.
Troy, NY ----Sage's women's tennis team had their home opener on Wednesday afternoon as they hosted the Trailblazers of Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts. Sage tallied the 9-0 win to improve to 2-1 on the season while MCLA drops to 0-2.
Senior co-captain Kathryn Saulsbery (Colonie, NY/South Colonie Central) added a pair of wins as she was victorious a both first singles and first doubles. She teamed at first doubles for an 8-6 win with junior Briana Bixler (Highland, NY/Highland). With her performance on Wednesday, Saulsbery has improved her career record to 22-17 in singles action with a 24-18 doubles mark. Overall, she is 46-35 as a Gator.
