Castleton tops Sage in women's tennis opener

Castleton, VT ----Sage’s women’s tennis team opened the 2010 season on Tuesday afternoon competing at Castleton State College. The Spartans collected the 8-1 victory over Sage to improve to 2-1, while Sage is 0-1.

Sage’s newcomer, sophomore co-captain Mackenzie Riley (Albany, NY/Albany) was the squad’s lone victor as she tallied a 6-1, 7-5 win at No. 1 singles in her first match as a Gator.
