Sage Tennis Falls In Non-Conference Contest
Troy, NY - The Sage Colleges tennis team lost to non-conference opponent Bay Path College, 5-4, ending their five game winning streak and dropping to 5-2 on the year.
Troy, NY - The Sage Colleges tennis team lost to non-conference opponent Bay Path College, 5-4, ending their five game winning streak and dropping to 5-2 on the year.
Sage only took one of the three doubles matches, Christina Gray (Clifton Park, NY) and Kathryn Saulsbery (Albany, NY) tallied the win 8-0.
Grey won 6-0, 6-0, in the number one singles slot, while Briana Bixler (Highland, NY) and Melissa Sageman (Westford, MA) recorded wins for the Gators, winning 6-4, 6-0; 6-3, 6-4; respectively.
Sage will return to the court on Tuesday, Septebmer 23rd when they travel to Purchase College for a conference match up.
