Sage Tennis Advances To Conference Semifinal
Troy, NY - The Sage Colleges women's tennis team defeated Farmingdale 5-0 in the Skyline Conference quarter-finals Tuesday afternoon at Prospect Park.
Troy, NY - The Sage Colleges women's tennis team defeated Farmingdale 5-0 in the Skyline Conference quarter-finals Tuesday afternoon at Prospect Park.
First doubles partners Christina Grey (Clifton Park, NY) and Kathryn Saulsbery (Albany, NY) defeated their opponents 8-5. Meghan Linzi (Valatie, NY) and Ashley Brennan (Loudonville, NY) teamed up for an 8-6 win, while Jessica Baldic (Cooperstown, NY) and Melissa Sageman (Westford, MA) tallied an 8-5 win.
Grey recorded a win in the number slot, winning 6-1,6-0. And Sageman added the final win for the Gators, winning 6-2, 6-1 and securing the Gators trip to the conference semi-finals.
Sage will travel to number two Mount Saint Mary College Thursday afternoon for the Skyline Conference Semifinals.
