Gator Tennis Team Posts First Conference Win

Purchase, NY - The Russell Sage College tennis team took its first Skyline Conference win over Mount Saint Vincent Wednesday evening 5-4 to improve to an overall record of 2-2.  

After winning only one doubles match Sage battled back to get the victory in thye majority of the singles matches. Nellie Rustick (Claverack) and Kathryn Saulsbery (Albany) both recorded singles wins, while Jessica Baldic (Cooperstown) and Melissa Sageman (Westford, MA) tallied the lone doubles win for Sage.

The Gators return to action Saturday as they travel to Polytechnic University for a Skyline Conference contest at 1pm.
