Gators fall to Husson

Saratoga Springs, NY----The Sage Colleges women's soccer team faced Husson College on Saturday in the opening round of Skidmore College's Invitational. Sage would fall 5-0 to Husson College and drops to 2-1 on the year, while Husson improves to 4-1.

Husson led 1-0 at the half as Kylan Smith found the net at 15:15 after getting the pass from Shelby Bradford. The goal would turn out to the game-winner as Husson held the Gators scoreless on the day.

Sage's junior goalie Brittany McDonald (Schenectady, NY/Schalmont) recorded seven saves on net. Sage returns to action on September 13 when they travel to the Skidmore College Invitational taking on Westfield State College at 11:00 a.m. Skidmore and Westfield State played to a 0-0 overtime tie on Saturday in the other match on the day.
