Sage's Allain Sweeps player of the week honors

Troy, NY----The Sage Colleges junior midfielder Ashley Allain (Stillwater, NY/Stillwater) earned player of the week honors from both the Skyline Conference and the Eastern College Athletic Conference as the Division III Metro Player of the Week.

Allain had 10 points for the Gators in a 2-1 week as she tallied four goals and two assists. She scored her first two goals of the season in a mid-week victory over Mt. St. Vincent College and closed the week with a pair of goals and two assists in the team's win over Yeshiva University, including the game-winner just 2:51 into the match.

Allain now has four goals and nine assists this fall and leads both the Gators and the Skyline Conference with her 0.82 assists per game average.

Sage returns to action on October 24 when they will host Farmingdale State College at the University at Albany in a 1 p.m. Skyline Conference match.
