Mahwah, NJ-- The Sage Colleges' women's lacrosse team travelled to Ramapo College for a Skyline Conference match on Saturday. The host Roadrunners collected a 19-2 win to improve to 5-7 overall and 2-5 in the league. Sage drops to 1-10 overall and 0-5 in the conference.
Sage's junior midfielder Alexa Veeder (Earlton, NY/Academy of the Holy Names) tallied a pair of goals for the Gators to elevate her team-leading performance to 30 goals and 34 points.
Sage's senior goalie Ginelle Butler (Malta, NY/Ballston Spa) her second start of the season in goal for the Gators. She recorded seven saves in the action and drops to 0-2 on the year.
Sage returns to action on April 18 travelling to Maritime College for a 7 p.m. Skyline Conference match.
