Sage earns Skyline Conference Sportsmanship Award

Troy, NY ----The Gators of The Sage Colleges were named the 2011 recipient of the Sportsmanship Award by the Skyline Conference. While Sage finished the season with a record of 0-9 overall and 0-8 in the league, the players and coaching staff received acclaim from the league's coaches for the manner in which they conducted themselves over the course of the season.

The women's lacrosse program was directed by Jackie Luszczek, who also serves as the college's head women's basketball coach. During her tenure, she has now garnered four Skyline Conference Sportsmanship Awards with three coming as head basketball coach for the Gator women, including the 2010-2011 season.
