Yonkers, NY – The Sage Softball (4-13, 1-4) team split a Skyline Conference double header with The College of Mount Saint Vincent (13-12, 2-7) on Tuesday evening. The Gators picked up game one 5-4 for their first conference win of the season, but fell 1-12 in the second game of the day.

Oneonta Defeats Sage Softball
The Sage College Gator Softball team traveled to SUNY Oneonta for a double header Tuesday afternoon. The Red Dragons defeated the Gators 15-0 in game one and 12-1 in game two.

Sage College receives NCAA approval to expand sport offerings to include male students
The Sage Colleges Athletics program recently received NCAA Division III approval to expand its varsity sports program to include male as well as female students. (Traditionally, the Sage Gators teams were based at Russell Sage College for women.) Now, teams will pull from both Russell Sage and the coed Sage College of Albany.

Myrtle Beach, SC – The Sage Softball team traveled to the Snowbird Softball Tournament for their opening contests of the 2008 season. Under new leadership with first year Head Coach Lindsay Sawyer Sage was eager to get on the field.
