TROY, N.Y. - This evening's game between The Sage Colleges and Rensselaer was called at the 27:15 mark of the second half due to lightning. No make-up time or date has been announced. Before the game was called, the Red Hawks held a 1-0 lead over the Gators off a goal by freshman Catherine Harvery.

Sage Selected First in Skyline Preseason Poll
LAWRENCEVILLE, N.J. - As a newcomer to the Skyline Conference last season, Sage was a bit of an unknown to the other conference teams. The Gators, who went 9-0 en route to the Skyline championship and dropped just one set in 11 matches against conference foes last season, will not sneak up on anyone this season. Sage has been selected as the Skyline Conference preseason favorite in women's volleyball as selected by the league's head coaches.

Sage College receives NCAA approval to expand sport offerings to include male students
The Sage Colleges Athletics program recently received NCAA Division III approval to expand its varsity sports program to include male as well as female students. (Traditionally, the Sage Gators teams were based at Russell Sage College for women.) Now, teams will pull from both Russell Sage and the coed Sage College of Albany.

Sage Volleyball Headed to NCAA Tournament
Troy, NY The Russell Sage College Volleyball Team defeated SUNY Farmingdale in the Skyline Conference Championship game three games to zero. The win gave Russell Sage College Athletics their first ever conference championship as well as the first trip to the NCAA Tournament. The Gators took a commanding lead from the start defeating the rams 30-19 and never looked back. The final two games saw Sage defeat Farmingdale 30-25 and 30-17.
